SUNCOAST: DEATH INVESTIGATION INVOLVING TEENAGER

The Bradenton Police Department is investigating the death of a teenager that occurred on Monday night. Out of respect for the family, BPD will not disclose the juvenile’s age or gender at this time.
 
At approximately 10:15 p.m. on May 18, 2026, officers responded to a 911 call in the 700 block of 12th Ave. W., where they found the teenager deceased outside a home. The circumstances surrounding the juvenile’s death are under investigation by BPD and the Manatee Homicide Investigation Unit; however, this appears to be an isolated incident. Additional details will be provided when appropriate.
