Frankie Abbruzzino is a graduate of Venice High School, after moving to Venice as a teenager in 1982. Frankie went on to serve in the United States Navy and received his BS from the University of Maryland, with some works towards his master’s degree at FIT. He worked with GTE/Verizon as a retail sales rep, before getting promoted to a commercial sales rep and eventually became the Regional Sales Manger over their Jacksonville market. After eight years there, he decided to venture out on his own and started Telfonix.com, which is a medical billing company that has been in business for over 25 years.
Now many of you may recognize his name because he is the owner of The Suncoast News, which most of us know as “The Scoop”. For over 17 years he has provided news and scoop to the Suncoast area, having over 11 stories go international. He has been very active locally within the City of Venice, running for Mayor in the City of Venice.
He turned his attention towards real estate and joined EDG Realty 4 years ago, after passing his Florida Real Estate exam. He continues to refer clients to EDG Realty, while continuing to provide the local news via the scoop and continuing his medical consulting company.
On a personal level, Frankie has been married to Lisa Abbruzzino for 38 years. They have two daughters, Isabella and Francesca.
