Sarasota: Man arrested after exposing himself on area beach

SARASOTA — Sarasota Police officers arrested a man after receiving reports he exposed himself on Lido Beach.
Daniel Mensch, 29, is facing two counts of lewd and lascivious behavior involving a victim younger than 18 and four counts of indecent exposure.
On Friday evening, Aug. 29, officers were contacted by a family on Lido Beach regarding Mensch’s behavior. The following day, Aug. 30, Community Action Team officers located Mensch while patrolling the beach and arrested him without incident.
Mensch was transported to the Sarasota County Jail and has since been released on bond.
