Search warrant in Punta Gorda leads to three arrest on drug and child neglect charges

On Friday, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit served a search warrant at 12127 Maravilla Dr. in Punta Gorda with the assistance of SWAT, and the Traffic Unit. This investigation stemmed from the main suspect, Amanda Williams 04-14-1988 selling trafficking amounts of methamphetamine from the home. During the search of the home, detectives located methamphetamine, digital scales, numerous individual baggies, and drug paraphernalia. At the conclusion of the search warrant, three individuals were placed under arrest for drug related charges.

The Department of Children and Families (DCF) also responded to the scene and took custody of a juvenile who was at the residence to relocate with family.
