NPPD

The North Port Police Department recently launched a new Special Needs Assessment Program (SNAP). The program allows residents and their families who have special needs to provide our first responders with additional information. It can help us respond and interact appropriately. This includes Deaf or Hard of Hearing, Alzheimer’s or Dementia, Epilepsy or Seizure Disorder, Autism, Diabetic, and more.

Those who sign up will also receive stickers that can be placed on vehicles and/or homes which can help first responders in an emergency or non-emergency situation.

Individuals who are interested in the NPPD Special Needs Assessment Program will need to complete an application form. You can inquire at [email protected].
