Governor DeSantis announced today that Florida will allow individuals to visit their loved ones at long-term care facilities.   He will sign the executive order today by 5pm, which will be active immediately and will allow visits to nursing homes and assisted living facilities.  There are some rules:

  • Only two visitors at a time
  • No minors are allowed yet
  • A facility cannot have a Covid case for 14 days, prior to allowing visitors.
  • Visitors have to wear PPE and pass the screening process.
