Venice received their first EMS truck, with three more scheduled to arrive within the week.

 

Venice is in the process of taking over the EMS from the county.  This was a controversial move because the numbers were not adding up.  However, Holic pushed this initiative through without getting any clarity on the response time differences, revenue from medical billing concerns, and how Venice was forecasting amazing profits compared to the counties current loses operating the system the city will be taking over soon.

 

The City of Venice will officially start operating the EMS ofr all city residents on 10.1.20
