City of North Port opens a cold weather shelter for the weekend

City of North Port: With low temperatures expected to dip into the 30s over the weekend, a cold weather shelter is opening in North Port at 100 Church, 14525 Tamiami Trail (near Blue Tequila restaurant). It will be available nightly beginning at 5 p.m. each evening Friday through Sunday (Dec. 24-26). Stay safe and stay warm.
