** Update ** It is now being reported that it was a deadly shooting.
A deadly shooting on I-75 S is causing traffic delays. @FHPSWFL is on the scene investigating. The gunfire follows reports of a Blue Hyundai driving erratically and aggressively in the northbound and southbound lanes. An adult male died at the scene. SCSO Traffic Advisory: Law enforcement officials are investigating an incident involving a fatality in the southbound lanes of I-75 near mile marker 199. Two lanes of the interstate are currently shut down which will impact commuter traffic for the next several hours. The public is encouraged to seek alternative routes when possible.
