North Port is set to hold six Community Budget Input Meetings

CITY OF NORTH PORT: The City of North Port is dedicated to transparency and we understand the importance of public input. The City will be holding six different Community Budget Input Meetings in April and May. Feedback from our residents is vital during our yearly budget process. We’ve dotted the meetings in different areas of the City, and have scheduled both morning and evening times. This is a large City, so convenience is key in order to join.
The meetings will start with a presentation detailing the budget process, followed by a Q&A session. Representatives from the various departments in the City will be present to respond to any questions or concerns.
Staff has been working diligently to prepare their proposed budgets for this fiscal year, and the Commission will dive in to the budget workshops beginning in May. We encourage residents to join and make their voices heard.
The first two meetings are set for April 18 at the new Public Safety Complex in the Wellen Park area of the City – 19955 Preto Boulevard. They will be held from 9-10:30 a.m. and 6-7:30 p.m. on the same day. Visit www.CityOfNorthPort.com/Input to find out more dates, times, and locations.
