Crash closes down the drawbridge connecting St. Armand’s to Longboat Key overnight

Due to a vehicle crash and debris in the roadway, The drawbridge (SR 789) that connects St. Armand’s to Longboat Key Town of Longboat Key Police Department (near Ken Thompson Parkway) is temporarily closed in both directions. As soon as the roadway is clear from debris, the bridge will reopen. Please be patient with us, and do your best to avoid the area and find an alternate route. Thank you for your patience.
