City of North Port

Walk-in traffic and more smiling faces are back at all public City facilities. Throughout the pandemic, the City of North Port has worked to keep the public and our employees as safe as possible. Internally, we have seen our share of Departments impacted from positive COVID-19 test results. Out of an abundance of caution and to make sure that City services would continue, we transitioned to more online and drive-thru service options. Recent positivity rates have now lowered. Beginning Monday, February 28, all services across the City will be fully open for foot traffic. This includes building permitting, planning, code enforcement, utility payments, and fingerprinting needs. The Public Works and Utilities administration buildings will also be open to the public to come in with questions or concerns.

Other City facilities such as Social Services and those within Parks and Recreation have remained open to foot traffic and will continue to be.

For convenience and ease of access there are still online and drive-thru services available.
