We’re giving our community an opportunity to safely dispose of unwanted firearms. When you no longer want a firearm, SPD can help you responsibly dispose of your firearm and ammunition, thereby eliminating the risk of theft, misuse, or accidental discharge.

The ‘Done with the Gun’ event will be held on Sat., January 22, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Sarasota Police Department (2099 Adams Lane) and the Sarasota Police Substation (1782 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way). Additional information is at — >>> here
