Sarasota County completes sale of three properties (including their downtown admin building) to Benderson

Today, Dec. 30, Sarasota County Board of County Commission Chairman Alan Maio signed the sale and lease agreement for the downtown Administration Building and related parcels located at 1660 Ringling Blvd., 1646 Morrill St. and 1703 Morrill St., Sarasota.

 

The sale and lease agreement with Benderson Development Company includes a leasing agreement with Sarasota County so the county may occupy and self-manage the current Administration Building at 1660 Ringling Blvd. for a period of approximately four years upon closing to allow for the development of a new County Administration Building anticipated in 2025.
