Watch: Swearing-In Ceremony Held for Eight Sarasota Police Officers

On Friday, September 17, 2021, Sarasota Police Interim Police Chief Rex Troche held a swearing-in ceremony for eight ( 8 ) new Sarasota Police Officers.

 

The socially distant ceremony was held at the Van Wezel Grand Foyer, 777 North Tamiami Trail, Sarasota. The eight officers join the Sarasota Police Department as 2nd Class Probation.

 

The new officers will begin their Field Training Program next week with Field Training Officers for the next several months.
