As you can see Venice and North Port will not have a pickup on Monday.  I believe it will be the same for the City of Sarasota and Sarasota County.

Venice City Hall at 401 W. Venice Ave. and all other City buildings will be closed on Monday, Sept. 6 for the Labor Day holiday.

 

ALL trash materials – garbage, yard waste and recyclables – will be collected on residents’ NEXT regular pickup day (NOT the next day). If your regular pickup day is Monday, all your items will be collected on Thursday, Sept. 9.

 

In the event of Utilities service emergencies like a water line break, residents can call 941-486-2770. This line is designated for emergencies only.
