NPPD
NPPD and NPFD are on scene of an accident in which a City garbage truck struck the I-75 SB overpass on Toledo Blade Blvd. I-75 southbound is currently shut down at the Toledo Blade Blvd. exit, and Toledo Blade Blvd. at the overpass is also shut down both ways.
Traffic on I-75 southbound is being diverted to the off-ramp and back onto the on-ramp to re-enter the Interstate. Assessors are on their way to check the damage on the bridge to ensure its integrity. There were no injuries. Expect delays or choose an alternate route.
