Voters in Sarasota County and its cities, including Venice, will be asked in November 2022 to decide if the local option 1-cent surtax tax should be continued.

The City of Venice has launched a webpage of Frequently Asked Questions and information about the infrastructure surtax pertinent to Venice.

It also includes a link to the County page and a full list of possible City projects that could be funded through Surtax IV, as well as a listing of public workshops scheduled for later in the year.
