Man is arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a child up to the age of 10

Valentin Gonzalez was arrested after a victim came forward and described how Valentin sexually battered her until the age of 10. 

The victim lived with the Gonzalez family for five years.   She described how Valentin would ask her to pretend she was an actress and him an actor, where he would then start kissing the victim.   The Probable Cause Affidavit (click here to read) describes how Valentin sexually abused her while in the water at the beach in Sarasota and in the back yard where he gave massages.

After not eating and being depressed, the victim had enough.  She went to the home of Valentin and confronted him in front of his wife.   His wife asked him if what the victim was stating happened and Valentine states “yes”, according to the PCA. 

When the police went to the home of Valentin and asked about the allegations and what took place when the victim came over, the wife confirmed that Valentin did admit to the molestation when the victim came to their home.   Valentin was then arrested and charged accordingly.
