Driver crashes into a building overnight in Sarasota

Thankfully there are no major injuries to report after a car crashed into a building at about 8:30pm on N. Tamiami Trl between 1st St. & N Palm Avenue with 2 people in the car. We believe the driver lost control due to over accelerating. The crash remains under investigation.
