As part of our efforts to combat drug misuse and abuse in Charlotte County, the CCSO works in partnership with Charlotte Behavioral Health Care to provide services for individuals who are ready to conquer their addiction. This partnership is made possible, in part, by the support of the ARCHway Institute – a non-profit organization dedicated to providing hope, resources, treatment, and recovery for those afflicted.

Last week, the ARCHway Institute held a Charity Tennis and Golf Event at Twin Isles Country Club in Punta Gorda. The funds raised by this event were donated to Charlotte Behavioral Health Care and the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office in the form of a grant to support our Drug Addiction Recovery Initiative.
We would like to thank the ARCHway Institute for their continued support of the program and their commitment to helping those in need in Charlotte County.

“The battle against drugs is tireless, but we will not give up the fight. The support of the ARCHway Institute allows us to offer treatment as an alternative to jail for an addict, because we know jail is not the place an addict needs to be. It certainly helps to know we have the support of other organizations to provide a better option for those struggling with addiction.”
-Sheriff Bill Prummell
