Leftist Activist Downplays Identity of Muslim Suspect After First Claiming He Was “Almost Certainly White”

After proclaiming the Boulder shooting suspect was “almost certainly white,” a leftist activist quickly downplayed the identity of the shooter when police later said he is Muslim.

Late Monday night, the activist claimed that because the shooter was taken into custody, he was “almost certainly white” because, apparently in her opinion, police would have killed the suspect if he were “black or brown.”

Yet, on Tuesday morning, after police revealed the suspect was Muslim, the activist quickly changed her tune, stating that the public shouldn’t “glorify the killer with the attention of having his name widely known.”

Of course, it’s pretty obvious by the suspect’s name that he’s Muslim.

“Police in Boulder, Colorado on Tuesday, revealed the identity of the 21-year-old suspect in custody, Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa, charged with 10 counts of first-degree murder over a shooting at an area King Soopers grocery story which left 10 people dead including a police officer,” reported The Federalist.

“Alissa, according to Facebook posts reviewed by the Daily Beast before they were taken down, was an anti-Trump Muslim who posted about Islam, prayer, and holidays, in addition to opposing gay marriage and former President Donald Trump’s policies on immigration.”

“Alissa also reportedly had sympathies to the Islamic caliphate pursued by ISIS, according to journalist Jack Posobiec citing a White House official.”

The activist made such a quick reversal that one political commendation, Jack Posobiec, asked “did something change overnight?”

Something did change: it was revealed that the suspect was a Muslim, which went against the desired establishment narrative.
