Howard Van Nostrand the commander of the Venice American Legion is pretty sick with cancer. He is a Navy veteran. He is also a former fire chief and has lung damage from the NYC 911 attack.
So a classic car club at the post is driving by the commanders house today to pay their respects to the commander.
