Florida Department of Health in Sarasota County Vaccine Update: Jan. 11, 2021

Over 15,000 COVID-19 vaccines have been distributed in Sarasota County, and we are awaiting details on the next shipment of vaccine to the county.

The Florida Department of Health continues to scout Sarasota County locations for a drive-thru vaccination site and continues to develop an enhanced vaccine registration platform.

Second dose appointments at the Sarasota County Health Department HAVE NOT been cancelled. All appointments previously scheduled at the Health Department are being rescheduled to a different location. Sarasota and Manatee Counties are receiving vaccine this week. https://t.co/keQEAJrW6c
