A North Port man is named as a person of interest in the November hit-and-run of a Venice man

Last November there was a horrific hit-an-run incident involving a motorcycle being ridden by a man out of Venice. The incident left the individual in bad shape and he is now trying to learn how to walk again.

The FHP announced that Joseph Dolbun out of North Port is a person of interest in this incident. Police located the vehicle after an exhaustive search on Marco Island. They could not find any damage on the front of the car, but believe that is because it was repaired.
They have determined that the car on Marco Island is the car that was involved in the incident and now are looking for Joseph Dolbun, who is a person of interest in this case. They are asking anybody with information to call the FHP at 239.938.1800.
