Sarasota Sheriff advises the public that a new sexual predator is living in Sarasota

Hilligoss was convicted in 2003 in Pinellas County of Attempted Sexual Battery on a Victim Under 12 Years Old and sentenced to 10 years in prison. Following his release, he was again convicted in 2017 on a single count of Violation of Probation and served one additional year behind bars. Hilligoss recently relocated and reports his address is 521 Parkview Drive in Sarasota. He is not currently under the supervision of the Florida Department of Corrections and because the original offense occurred prior to 2004, residency restrictions do not apply. Mandatory neighborhood notifications are being made.
