First I have owned a medical billing business for over 20 years.  So, I think it is important to let the public know how much doctors will be paid.  Below is the medicare fee schedule.  Medicare has advised using these two codes for the vaccine (see document by clicking here).

 

Q0239  Inject bamlanivimab-xxxx, 700 mg.  Medicare fee .010

 

M0239 Intravenous infusion, bamlanivimab-xxxx, includes infusion and post administration monitoring.  Medicare fee is $309.60.

So, just like with the test for Covid, which is making many healthcare workers a lot of money, again trust me because I am billing them out, so will vaccines.  With that, there will be a huge push by healthcare workers to vaccinate for Covid, it pays well. – Frank
