Parents Fed Up: Concerned parents of Sarasota County fire back at the Sarasota County school board in what they call “The Parent Presser”

Parents Fed Up

On Sunday, October 4, 2020 at 6:00 PM, to be held at an undisclosed private location, Concerned Parents of Sarasota will be holding its first “Parent Presser.”

Concerned Parents is a group of parents, grandparents, educators, doctors, therapists, taxpayers, and among others that has become “fed-up” with the Sarasota County School board because:

-the school board gives each citizen only 3 minutes to speak at each meeting and then is abruptly cut off and threatened with removal from the meeting

-the school board is not required to answer the questions of the public speaker or engage in a 2 way-dialogue

-the school board seeks to fulfill political agendas rather than the educational needs of the citizens

-the school board does not respond to citizens’ request for information

-the school board bypasses parental notification and consent

Concerned Parents of Sarasota was formed to inform other parents of the atrocities being committed within Sarasota County Schools and to give other concerned parents a voice and advocate against the tyrannical Sarasota County School Board. Concerned Parents of Sarasota will no longer tolerate school board members defacing and disrespecting parents on social media platforms like Facebook or allowing school board members to indoctrinate our children with social platforms such as Black LIves Matter marxist ideology or LGBTQ Pride.

We are standing up for our children’s future and for the future of all children! We will remind the Sarasota County School Board that they work for the taxpayers and will be accountable to them! We Will be heard! We are #TakingBackOurSchools.

We would like to invite you to cover this amazing story as parents take back our schools.
