The North Port Firefighters Benevolent Association will host a Benefit Motorcycle Ride for North Port Firefighter Victor Cleveland on Saturday, April 4, bringing the community together to honor his life, service and legacy.
Registration opens at 8 a.m., with kickstands up for the memorial ride at 9:30 a.m. Riders will depart from City Center Front Green, 4970 City Hall Blvd., and travel in a coordinated procession, concluding at Bert’s Black Widow Harley-Davidson, 2224 El Jobean Road, Port Charlotte. Registration is $20 per bike and $10 for each passenger. Non-riders are welcome to join at the conclusion of the event to show support.
This benefit ride will not only honor Cleveland’s memory but also support those he loved most. Proceeds from the event will go directly to assist Cleveland’s family, with a portion dedicated to establishing a scholarship fund for individuals pursuing careers as Firefighters, EMTs and Paramedics, helping future first responders follow in his footsteps.
Cleveland served the citizens of North Port with dedication and pride for 17 years. He passed away on Dec. 11, 2025, following a long and courageous battle with cancer. Throughout his career, Cleveland was known for his commitment to the job, his compassion for others and the lasting impact he made on his fellow firefighters and the community he served.
Riders and community members are encouraged to participate and show their support.
