Sarasota County: CONGRATULATIONS to the The City of North Port – Government Emergency Management team! They recently broke ground on their future Emergency Operations Center. Sarasota County Emergency Management Chief Sandra Tapfumaneyi attended the groundbreaking in support of our partners. We look forward to seeing the completed project in Spring 2027. This will be a great addition to the North Port community as they prepare for, respond to and recover from any
