Suncoast man charged with using a computer to solicit a child

Major Crimes Detectives with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office arrested Justin Bryant Fife (2/24/1987), following the execution of a search warrant at his residence in the 600 block of Dalton Avenue in Port Charlotte.
 
The arrest comes after detectives developed probable cause indicating that Fife had been inappropriately communicating with a juvenile via the internet. As a result of the investigation and evidence obtained during the search warrant, Fife was taken into custody without incident.
 
Fife has been charged with Use of a Computer Service to Solicit a Child and Sending Harmful Materials to a Minor. Additional charges may develop, as the investigation remains ongoing.
