Sarasota Police seize $25k, 100g of rock cocaine after executing a search warrant on N. Lime Ave

Sarasota Police Department SWAT and Strategic Intelligence Unit (SIU) detectives executed a search warrant at a home at 514 N. Lime Ave. on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2025, at 6 a.m. Tips about narcotics sales at the home initiated the investigation. The search led to the arrest of Antrone D. Thomas, 46, of Sarasota.
During the search warrant, SIU detectives discovered $25,045 in cash, 79.4 grams of marijuana, 100.5 grams of rock cocaine and 775.5 grams of cocaine in liquid form.
Thomas, a 20-time convicted felon, was the only person at the home when officers arrived. The following items were located during the search warrant:
- Two bags of crack cocaine,
- One empty bag
- Multiple pieces of crack cocaine
- The following items were found with white residue that tested positive for cocaine:
- A scale,
- A pot commonly used to make crack cocaine,
- Two razor blades.
Thomas was arrested and is facing five felony charges:
- Trafficking in cocaine
- Manufacturing cocaine
- Own/Rent a structure known to traffic drugs
- Tampering with evidence
- Possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana
