Sarasota: Man wanted since 2015 on 40 counts of possessing child porn, has been captured

SCSO: In February 2025, a breakthrough in a 2015 cold case concerning Monte Allen Webb (DOB 09/07/1957), led the SCSO Fugitive Apprehension Unit to Georgia. With the help of the United States Marshals – Atlanta task force, we initiated a fugitive investigation. Acting on these tips, the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force successfully apprehended Webb without incident on September 16. Webb will be transported back to Sarasota County to face justice and 40 counts of possession of sexual performance by a child. Sheriff Hoffman is committed to solving cold cases and this arrest, 10 years later, is a promise kept! Justice never rests!
