North Port Homeowner Receives New Home Through Resilient SRQ

When North Port resident Warren learned he would be receiving a brand-new home through the Resilient SRQ Housing Recovery Program, he couldn’t believe it. “Come onnnn!” thought the New York native, “It’s like hitting the happy lottery.”

 

Thanks to federal disaster recovery funds, Resilient SRQ is helping homeowners like Warren repair or replace their Hurricane Ian-damaged homes with safer, more resilient housing. Watch the video to see how these efforts are helping rebuild lives across Sarasota County.
