๐Ÿข City administrative offices will be closed.
๐Ÿš› Garbage/recycling and yard waste will be picked up as usual.
๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ City facility hours may vary.
๐ŸšŒ The Bay Runner will run regular hours 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

 

๐‰๐ฎ๐ง๐ž๐ญ๐ž๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ก ๐‚๐ž๐ฅ๐ž๐›๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง: A Juneteenth celebration, co-sponsored by the City of Sarasota, will take place from 1-7 p.m. on Saturday, June 14 on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way between Osprey Avenue and Pershing Avenue. This free, family-friendly event will feature live music, food trucks, vendors, and activities.
๐…๐ซ๐ž๐ž ๐“๐ซ๐ž๐ž ๐†๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐š๐ฐ๐š๐ฒ: As part of the Juneteenth Celebration, the City will give away 50 free trees to City of Sarasota residents. There are 9 different species that will be offered. Trees will be available from 1-7 p.m. at the corner of N. Links Avenue and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way. To pick up a tree, you must bring valid identification or a utility bill showing City residency.
