NPPD arrest a Suncoat man for lewd and lascivious activity with a teenager

NPPD was called out to North Port High School after an individual disclosed some inappropriate behavior with 37-year-old Travis Rupe.   

The police brought the victim in for an interview where she told them that Travis allegedly made her touch him in his private area.   Travis was allegedly pleasuring himself with lotion and brought it to a full conclusion, while laying on his bed with no clothes on.   The victim told police that this type of activity has allegedly happened more than ten times and it appears that she finally had the strength to contact someone about it a few days ago.   The age of the victim is not known, but it she is between 12-16 based upon the charges.  
 

As in all cases, these are allegations and everyone is innocent until proven guilty.   There was no information on the Probable Cause Affidavit regarding the interview with Travis.
