POD SCHEDULE UPDATE: Sarasota County Points of Distribution will be open today, Monday, Sept. 29, through Wednesday, Oct. 2, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or while supplies last.

There are four supply locations in Sarasota County for community members impacted by Hurricane Helene, including the Venice Community Center at 326 Nokomis Ave. S. (pictured) and Nokomis Beach Park, 100 S. Casey Key Road.

Supplies available include water, ice, sports drinks, tarps, flood buckets, nonperishable food items and Meals-Ready-To-Eat (MREs). See all the locations at: scgov.net/pods
