City of Venice bulk yard waste pickup process

City of Venice Solid Waste is doing bulk yard waste pickups, but residents must make an appointment for pickup before placing a pile of yard waste at the curb. Call 941-486-2422 to do so.
A few rules:
The debris cannot be under any trees or power lines, or too close to mailboxes or sprinkler heads.
No stumps or logs larger than 8 inches in diameter.
This collection is for brush removal and tree or bush trimmings only, not for tree removal.
