A second shooting in Sarasota over the weekend

UPDATE 9:00 p.m.: At approximately 4:30 p.m., Sarasota Police responded to a report of gunshots near the 1800 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Way. Upon arrival, officers located a deceased adult male at the scene.
We are working to identify the individual and notify the next of kin.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
