North Port: Marie Ferranti who was convicted for sexual activity with minors, is back behind bars after a parole violation

You may recall Marie Ferranti.  She was arrested and convicted in 2018 on a couple counts of unlawful sexual activity.   It looks like she is back behind bars with a parole violation.  To refresh your memory on her arrest last year……….

SCSO: Ferranti was convicted in 2018 in Sarasota County on two counts of Unlawful Sexual Activity with Certain Minors 16 or 17 Years Old and one count of Lewd or Lascivious Battery on a Victim 12 to 15 Years Old. She was sentenced to 15 months in prison followed by seven years of probation. Ferranti was recently released and reports her address is 12597 South Tamiami Trail in North Port. She is currently under the supervision of the Florida Department of Corrections and is not allowed to live within 1,000 feet of a school, childcare facility, park or playground.
