The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office Cold Case Unit has identified the victim of an unsolved homicide dating back to 2002 through the use of DNA technology. The man’s remains were found just off Zemel Rd. in Charlotte County. Det. Kurt Mehl sat down Trish Routte of SWFL Crime Stoppers to discuss the case.
