Open house focuses on Price Blvd. Widening Project
Francesco Abbruzzino, The Uncensored Report, LLC
CITY OF NORTH PORT, FL – The City of North Port is hosting an open house to provide an opportunity for residents to ask questions about the Price Boulevard Widening Project. The project covers a 2.75-mile stretch from east of Sumter Boulevard to west of Toledo Blade Boulevard and aims to enhance safety and road quality for residents. The City will utilize temporary construction easements (TCEs) along the project corridor to facilitate the construction, estimated to begin later this year.
All residents directly adjacent to the construction area must sign and have notarized a temporary easement and right of entry form. At the open house, residents can:
- Learn about the project details and construction impacts
- Get information about temporary construction easements (TCEs) and temporary mailboxes
- Sign and notarize temporary easement and right of entry forms
- Ask questions to the project team
It’s important to note that over the years, various items such as irrigation systems, landscaping, fences, signs, decorative walls and vehicles have been placed within the City’s right-of-way near the roadway. Residents must remove any such items from the right-of-way area before construction begins.
Date: Saturday, July 20, 2024
Time: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Location: George Mullen Activity Center, 1602 Kramer Way
