Sarasota Police investigate shooting with injuries

The Sarasota Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place near the 1800 block of 23rd Street shortly after 3:00 p.m. on Monday. One person sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
This is an isolated incident, and the public is not believed to be in danger.
