Sexual Predator Notification for the City of Sarasota

The Sarasota Police Department is informing the public that Matthew Lorenzo Hopkins, 40, a sexual predator, has moved into the City of Sarasota.

 

Hopkins is a sexual predator who just moved to 3037 Palmadelia Ave, Sarasota. Hopkins was designated as a Sexual Predator in 2000 in Polk County. He was charged with Lewd or lascivious molestation on a victim under the age of 16. Hopkins is 5’7”, approximately 160 lbs., and has black hair and brown eyes.

The Sarasota Police Department distributes this information to area schools and state-registered daycare centers and posts the information on all social media outlets, including Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, and the Sarasota Police Department website, www.sarasotapd.org
