Sarasota Sheriff in partnership with the US Marshals arrest a man wanted in a Pennsylvania homicide
SCSO
#InCustody: On Wednesday, our Fugitive Apprehension Unit (FAU) working in partnership with the U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force, made an arrest in a Pennsylvania homicide case. 24-year-old Damian Schott had been on the run since the June 11 shooting incident in Mt. Washington. After receiving a tip from the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police and USMS West Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force, Schott was tracked to Sarasota and located in an apartment in the Gulf Gate area. Thanks to the multi-agency coordination, Schott is now behind bars and awaiting extradition back to Pennsylvania. Excellent work by all involved!!
