NAIA largely bans transgender athletes from women’s sports | Morning in America

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced a policy Monday that specifies only athletes whose biological sex assigned at birth is female and who have not begun hormone therapy can participate in women’s sports, effectively banning transgender athletes from women’s sports. The NAIA oversees about 83,000 athletes competing in over 25 sports at 241 colleges.
