New scam hits the Suncoast area

Heads up! Another scam has been reported in our area…
If you receive a package containing something you didn’t order, it’s possible your personal information was intercepted in a recent order that you did place.
Scammers are stealing that information and sending you something, then creating a fake review of that item in your name in order to create the impression of a thriving business.

If this has happened to you, it is a good idea to check your accounts and make sure no other fraudulent activity has occurred.
