Sarasota Police Arrest a Bradenton Man on Felony Charges for Possession of Cocaine, Spice & Marijuana

Pernell Ware, 46, of Bradenton, has been arrested and is facing several felony charges, including Sale/Possession with Intent of a Controlled Substance within 1000’ of a Park (Cocaine), Sale/Possession with Intent of a Controlled Substance within 1000’ of a Park (Synthetic Cannabinoid), and Sale/Possession with Intent of a Controlled Substance within 1000’ of a Park (Marijuana).  Ware was wanted on a felony warrant for Trafficking Cocaine of 28 grams or more but less than 200 grams.

 

Sarasota Police officers observed Ware, a known felony warrant suspect, standing at Fredd Atkins Park, 2431 Veronica H. Allen Place, Sarasota, on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, just after 1 p.m. After placing Ware in handcuffs, officers found $718 in U.S. currency, 23 grams of synthetic cannabinoid (spice), 27.2 grams of crack cocaine, and 46.7 grams of marijuana.  Ware spontaneously uttered that he said drugs on him, and he admitted to selling drugs before contact with officers.

 

Ware was arrested and taken to the Sarasota County Jail, where he’s being held on a $60,000 bond.
