Death investigation underway on Rock Creek Drive in Port Charlotte – GC News

On Wednesday, July 15th, 2026, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office responded to the address of 2645 Rock Creek Drive, Port Charlotte, for a well-being check. Two deceased individuals were located within the home. Identification of the individuals could not be made due to the amount of time that had passed and resulting condition of the bodies.
At this time, evidence supports that this is an isolated incident and there is no reason for concern for community safety. Once the deceased subjects are positively identified (which will take time) and next of kin/family members properly notified, any appropriate updates will be shared.
