SCSO Continues Search for Missing Person Off Siesta Key
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office began a search yesterday in the waters off Siesta Key after a person reportedly disappeared.
According to witnesses, an individual entered the water near Beach Road and was never seen returning to shore. Search efforts were launched involving multiple agencies.
The U.S. Coast Guard and local law enforcement personnel plan to continue searching for the missing individual today.
No additional information has been released at this time.
Hopefully search crews are able to locate the person and provide answers to their family.
